Start indoors 1-2 weeks before final frost. Stratify seeds by placing in bag of moistened vermiculite or sand and refrigerate for one week. Lightly tamp seeds into soil flats and transplant once true leaves develop. Plant in fertile soil in full sun to partial shade 12” apart.
Water moderately. Skullcap is a perennial in zones 4-8 but will self-seed in warmer climates.
